In coordination with the STASY, the “Kifisia” metro line 1 station will be open 24 hours a day for a possible mass evacuation
20 vehicles of the Civil Protection Department with volunteers will carry out continuous patrols throughout the territory of the Municipality of Kifissia in the evening hours
The Municipality is placed in a state of emergency mobilization with the mobilization of workers and the revocation of permits
There is constant communication with the registered vulnerable groups of the Municipality by the Social Service to provide instructions
Within the boundaries of the Municipality are: 1 Leopard Jumbo Track Multi armored firefighting vehicle parked at OTE Ekali, 2 Firefighting vehicles of the Volunteer Rescue Forest Firefighters Group (OEDD), 1 firefighting vehicle of the Ekali Fire Department, 3 “type A” firefighting vehicles, 2 tankers vehicles with a capacity of 10 tons, while the Municipality’s drone is also in use for surveillance and fire detection
At the same time, on the fire fronts, together with the forces of the Fire Department: 1 fire truck of the Ekali Fire Department, 2 fire trucks of the OEDD and 1 tank of the Municipality of Kifissia are operating.
