Summer is over, autumn is here. And this time for real. Word of meteorologist Mario Giuliacci, who on the YouTube channel of Weather Giuliacci has dictated the forecasts until September 25th. Bad days ahead and temperatures constantly falling. “Dear friends, as we had predicted, there will be a second disturbance arriving on Wednesday 11th, which will persist in Italy until Saturday 14th – Giuliacci begins – with showers and thunderstorms everywhere”. Heavy rain therefore on Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise and the coasts of Tyrrhenian Calabria. “Unfortunately light rain on the major islands and Puglia – explains the meteorologist who underlines – where it would be most necessary”.
On Wednesday 18th, a new disturbance will bring clouds and thunderstorms to the central-eastern Alps, Emilia-Romagna and all of central-southern Italy. The regions most affected are again Abruzzo, Molise and Tyrrhenian Calabria; not even Sardinia will be spared. Autumn is really coming to an end and snowfall is arriving in the Alps: initially up to 1000 metres with modest accumulations and then over the weekend at altitudes above 1500 metres.
