After the end of his football career, Antonio Cassano became a TV pundit who often makes controversial opinions. Recently, he hit Jose Mourinho, accusing him of being too defensive. – Maurizio Sarri, Lazio coach, loves football and the Portuguese doesn’t care about the ball. Some people take him for who knows who, but Sarri’s teams play beautiful football and Mou’s teams have no style at all. Cassano hits Mourinho again. “He’s a complete zero”
– Everyone has the right to say what they want. But Antonio? He is busy having fun while others work in football. Cassano played for Roma, Inter and Real Madrid. And what? In Madrid, he was only remembered for his jacket. Roma? He won the Super Cup with her, but he did not play in that match. Inter? He didn’t even win the Lombardy Cup with him. (…) I will only say one thing to Cassano: be careful, Antonio, you’re 40 and I’m 60 and sometimes you come across a guy like Marko Livaja and it gets tough,” Mourinho said.
Cassano made just 29 appearances for Real Madrid. And that’s why Mourinho ironically said that the Italian was only remembered in Madrid by the extravagant jacket in which he appeared at the official presentation. Speaking of Livaja, Mourinho was referring to the famous brawl between the Italian and the Croatian in the Inter locker room in the 2012/13 season.
Cassano has now responded to these words. The Italian denied that there were fisticuffs with Livaja. Instead, he hit the Portuguese again, and with each subsequent sentence he was more blunt. Mourinho won the trophy in Rome, but he makes an obscene fool of himself. In addition, it leads to quarrels, mess, exclusion, catastrophe. It also hurts the players. He must understand that he is a bad coach – he emphasized on “Bobo TV”.
Cassano mocked Mourinho’s achievements – he has as many as 28 trophies, including the most important – two Champions League cups and four awards for the best coach in the world. According to the Italian, it is not the Roma coach who is the best in his profession – he pointed to another favourite.
“He can shove all those trophies up his ass… He’ll never even be the toe of Pep Guardiola’s shoe because the Spaniard is a phenomenon and he’s bad at coaching. If he stops training, no one will remember him after three days. He will leave behind only arguments and controversies, because he never valued any player. He’s poor as a coach. He should take an example from Spalletti or De Zerbi who play spectacular football. I don’t judge Mourinho as a person but as a coach he is a complete zero.”

Antonio Cassano was a promising footballer. He played, among others for Inter, Real and Roma, but he never made the great career that was predicted for him. What he lacked most was discipline – he was more interested in parties and women than scoring goals.
