The French President, Emmanuel Macron, arrived, on Thursday night, in Luanda, for an official visit at the invitation of his counterpart and Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço.
Upon arrival at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, the French President was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.
The reception committee also included the governor of the Province of Luanda, Manuel Homem, the Europe director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Júlio Maiato, the Angolan ambassador to France, Guilhermina Preta, and the head of the French diplomatic mission in Angola, Daniel Vosgien.
Emmanuel Macron’s mission will be carried out throughout the day, starting with a trip to the Money Museum, in downtown Luanda, to close the France-Angola Business Forum, which started on Thursday.
