Moanes Hawas wrote on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 12:00 AM Twitter has changed its identity now, a day following the Twitter owner announced Elon Musk That the company would have a new name and a new brand identity, things began to change at the social media company. First, CEO Linda Iaccarino shared the company’s new logo, then Musk updated his profile picture and the symbol opposite both Musk and Yaccarino was changed from “Blue Bird” to “X”.

This is what the CEO said

It’s extremely rare – in life or in business – that you get a second chance to make another big impression. Twitter made a huge impression and changed the way we communicate Now X will go further, transforming the global cityscape.

X is the future state of boundless interaction – centered around voice, video, messaging and payments/banking – creating a global marketplace of ideas, goods, services and opportunities. Powered by artificial intelligence, X will connect us all in ways we are just beginning to imagine.

For years, fans and critics alike have pushed Twitter to dream bigger, innovate faster, and realize our greatest potential. X will do that and more.

We’re really starting to see what the X looks like over the past eight months with rapid feature launches, but it’s still just the beginning.

There is absolutely no limit to this transformation. X will be the platform that can offer, well… everything. Elon Musk and I look forward to working with our teams and each of our partners to bring X to the world.

Twitter’s main building is lit up with an “X”

Yaccarino and Musk shared separate photos of the HQ building in San Francisco, the building lit up and the new logo displayed on the building, the “X.com” domain redirecting to Twitter.com, and the Twitter ID name changed to X.

Changes in the company are underway because at the time of writing we can still see the “Bird” logo in several places, and when Marcus Brownlee tweeted from users YouTube That he would contact the platform on Twitter, Musk replied, “Not for long.”

No word on what the tweets will be called because so far they resonate with Twitter. “Old habits die hard, aren’t those called tweets?” Jack Dorsey, co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, also tweeted welcoming the change, writing on Twitter “Keep calm and just X through it.”

Reportedly, Musk sent an email last night to Twitter employees telling them that Company would become X, and that this was the last time he would send an email from a Twitter address. It should be noted that Company X comes under technology company X Corp.
