The American billionaire, Elon Musk, decided to sell the “Twitter” sign that was hanging outside the company’s building before it changed its name to X, at an auction to be held next month.

The auction, titled “Twitter Randing,” will take place online from September 12-14 and features memorabilia, art and office assets.

According to the auction website, there are 584 items for sale, including signs of the famous blue bird logo, office furniture, refrigerators, coffee machines, a variety of musical instruments, and a painting of former US President Barack Obama with former first lady Michelle Obama.

One of the signs for sale is the one that hung on the company’s headquarters building in San Francisco. In addition to several LED banners with the bird logo, hashtags and @ signs, as well as a wooden table in the shape of a Twitter bird, and a bookshelf in the form of the hashtag #.

Musk announced the change of the name “Twitter” to X, and also changed his profile picture to the X logo and published promotional content featuring X’s.

It is noteworthy that Musk officially bought the platform last year, and since then, it has undergone a large number of changes that have sparked controversy, including limiting the number of direct messages a user can send and the number of posts they can see.
