Company
Give body and soul for the company or clear out, this is the strange ultimatum sent by Elon Musk to his employees.
This is the kind of proposal that looks more like a missive. By November 17, the new Twitter boss has asked individualmen to all its employees, through a letter, to prove their attachment or not to their job. Either they “give their all”, or they will be dismissed with compensation equivalent to three months’ salary. Workers were invited to click on the “yes” box before this Thursday at 5 p.m.
Here’s the text of the email Musk sent to Twitter staff overnight.
Those who don’t commit to being “extremely hardcore” by 5pm ET today must leave the company. ‼️

“To build a game-changing Twitter 2.0 and succeed in an increasingly competitive world, we’re going to need to go all out, to the extreme”, wrote the new majority shareholder of the platform in this internal communication. ” It means working long hours at high intensity”, he continued. ” Only an exceptional performance will be worth a sufficient note”. Inevitably, the behavior of the new boss clashes, even in the United States, a country where the rights of workers are much less protected than here.
This is not the first escapade of the owner of Space X. He had recently fired several senior company officials, while others had decided to resign. He would also bring in engineers from his company Tesla to assess Twitter employees. 7,500 of them would have been dismissed from the platform in less than a week only.
