In six weeks, Linda Yaccarino will become CEO of Twitter. She previously held the position of director of and partnerships at NBCUniversal, the American media group which includes the NBC television channel, the Peacock streaming service and the Hollywood studios Universal Pictures.
Thursday evening, Elon Musk revealed that he had recruited a director for the social network, without giving her name. Meanwhile, NBC Universal announced in a press release that it was terminating the functions of Linda Yaccarino “with immediate effect”. The billionaire confirmed the news this Friday on his Twitter account.
