Ellen Bergström would publish a book regarding her sobriety.
Then she started drinking once more.
– I have been so ashamed of it, she says in “Renée’s bridge”.
Ellen Bergström34, has long spoken openly regarding his struggle with alcohol and would publish a book regarding life sober.
But while working on the book, she relapsed.
In the latest episode of “Renée’s bridge”, the actor says that following five years without alcohol, she began to believe she might drink once more.
– Then I called and said no, but there won’t be a book because now I’ve been sober for five years, now I think I can handle this, she says.

“Very difficult to get here”
But the consumption quickly escalated and Ellen Bergström did not feel well. In the program, she reveals that just a few hours ago she decided to stop drinking once more.
– I have drunk a glass and I didn’t feel like I wanted to drink more. Then some time passed and as time went on I felt that I increased the amount, from one glass to two glasses and so on. I had decided that I will drink so much and I didn’t keep it. So then I just decided like this: Enough. And that was yesterday. So it was really hard to get here today.
– Oh, replies the presenter Renée Nyberg shocked.

“Doesn’t feel good regarding it”
Ellen Bergström has learned once once more that she cannot handle alcohol.
– I needed to be tested once more because I wanted to be sure. And so I did and I can’t. I have no control. And I don’t feel good regarding it. And now this period I haven’t liked myself once more, she says.
The actor has talked several times regarding her difficult relationship with alcohol and that people around her have told her that her personality changes when she drinks. Among other things, she has gone to AA meetings to get help to stay sober.
“Renées brygga” is broadcast on TV4 on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
