Among the many monstrosities that you face during your journey in Sanctuary, some creatures called Elites are more powerful than others and have several affixes that will not make your task easier in your fight against the Underworld. Find all the information about them below.
1. Introduction
The Elites are provided with different affixes making it more difficult for you to win. The latter have 1 to 4 and combinations of these can represent a big challengewhich you would browse the open world or the Djones. Be aware of how these particular skills work before facing groups of monsters that might get down quicklyespecially if you play in Extreme.
Once in Nightmare world levelof the Champions may also appear, offering a increased difficulty with some damage resistance auras.

- wall builder : Periodically raises walls around players.
- Poisoned Enchantment : Uses powerful poison-enhanced attacks.

- Gel : Periodically freezes players in the area.
- Invocation : Summons additional enemies regularly.

- Bonds of the Underworld : Chains you to a pylon, limiting your movement.
- Mortar : Launches fire attacks through the air.
- plague carrier : Place pools of poison on the ground.
- Storm : Causes a nearby storm.
- Creepy : Places pentacles on the ground that deal damage and scare players.

Elites sometimes have associated minions who possess Life increasedand therefore an increased number of life points.
