Elissa’s first comment after being accused of “supporting rapists”: I can’t express

The Lebanese singer Elissa was subjected to harsh criticism, after she recently announced her latest song, “Min Al Mina”, with which Moroccan Saad Lamjarred shares.

Some social media pioneers accused Elisa of “supporting the rapists”, especially that she participated in “Lamjarred” in her latest work, and he was accused of rape.

The Lebanese singer ignored the wave of criticism she faced, and contented herself with celebrating the song’s wide views after only 24 hours of its release on YouTube.

The song “From the First Minute” has more than 5 million views.

Elissa expressed her happiness through a tweet through her account on “Twitter”, and said: “I am very grateful and happy for the comments.. I can’t express what I really feel.. Thank you.. I love you all.”

Saad Lamjarred’s crises

It is worth noting that the Moroccan artist has been subjected to a number of crises in recent years, the first of which was his accusation of beating and raping a woman in New York in 2010, after which cases against him followed, most notably the case of rape of a girl on a beach in 2018.

He was also accused of raping a Frenchwoman in Morocco in 2019, to prevent Saad Lamjarred from entering France permanently, and other similar cases that did not go beyond the framework of rape and harassment, but so far no court rulings have been issued against him.

Last October, Twitter pioneers launched a campaign against him, refusing to host Lamjarred in Egypt, where a hashtag called “We don’t want Saad Lamjarred in Egypt” was launched, as a result of accusations against him in rape cases.
