In the ‘2022 Musical Elizabeth 10th Anniversary Celebration Cast Interview’ video uploaded on the EMK Musical Company’s official YouTube channel on the 13th, Ock Joo-hyun said, “I am thrilled to come back like this on the 10th anniversary, and I remember the day I first met (work) and I am grateful.” expressed his feelings.
He introduced, “(Elizabeth) is a work that brings a variety of dramatic emotions to the surface at once.” “I can’t pick just one best scene. The moment when music and stage art meet is perfect.”
The musical ‘Elisabeth’, which premiered in Korea in 2012, is entering its fifth season this year.
In this performance to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the premiere in Korea, Ock Joo-hyun and Lee Ji-hye will appear as Elizabeth, and Shin Sung-rok, Kim Jun-su, Lee Ji-hoon, Park Eun-tae, and Min Young-ki will be on stage together.
Ock Joo-hyun explained regarding the casting, “I think the strongest combination is back.”
In an interview video, Lee Ji-hye, who took on the role of Elizabeth for the first time in this performance, said, “‘Elizabeth’ is a work that I have only vaguely thought regarding that I would like to meet her someday.”
The 10th anniversary performance of the musical ‘Elisabeth’ will be held at the Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul from the 25th of next month to the 13th of November.
