The leader of the Civic Coalition Elisa Carrió suffered a decompensationin the Santa Fe town of Esperanza, and had to be admitted to check her health status.

According to the statement of the Medical Directorate of the Esperanza Sanatoriumwhere Carrió remains, “the patient was admitted (…) presenting symptoms compatible with transient ischemic (cerebral) deficit”.

The health center stated that is under medical observation and various studies and clinical analyzes were carried out to determine the origin and nature of his condition.

“At the moment, remains in the institution by own decision and by the medical team, awaiting evolution”, they added in the statement that leads to the signature of Esteban Fregona.

Meanwhile, they detailed that “out of respect for the privacy and confidentiality of the patient” they will not provide “additional details” regarding Carrió’s state of health.

Elisa Carrió remains hospitalized in Santa Fe.

“We are committed to keeping the media and the general public informed regarding any relevant developments in relation to the medical evolution of the patient, always respecting the established ethical and legal limits,” they indicated.

Carrió was in the province campaigning with the pre-candidate for governor of his space, Eduardo Maradona, when he suffered a health problem that led to his hospitalization.

From the leader’s environment they told Clarion In the first moment what it is not a serious conditionbut will remain under observation for a few hours.

The leader began to feel dizzy and some muscle pain during a tour and it was at that moment that the people who were with her decided to take her to a health center in Esperanza.

“He is fine and he is going to wait for the doctors to indicate the steps to follow,” they said. Clarion and indicated that he will remain under observation for a few hours before being discharged.

Lucila Lehmann, pre-candidate for provincial deputy for the space led by Carrió, spoke with TN and recounted what happened: “When we went to lunch she felt dizzy and we called 107.”

“He had a decompensation, he suffered dizziness and we called. They decided to put her in a sanatorium to do complementary studies. She is lucid. The truth is that since she has a history of having heart attacks and diabetes, she was transferred to do the corresponding studies,” she remarked.

This same Wednesday, Carrió made statements from Santa Fe and denounced an “obscene campaign” by Together for Change in the province, where this Sunday there will be Simultaneous and Mandatory Open Primary elections for governor.

“This campaign is obscene. Where does so much money come from? Who pays for this campaign? Who do they owe these favors to? It might be from drug trafficking and the electoral courts have to investigate it,” he said.

Along with Carrió and Maradona, Lucila Lehmann made a tour of Santa Fe lands; the candidate for councilor for the city of Santa Fe, Inés Masino, and the candidates for provincial senators.

“I have never seen a campaign, in thirty years of political life, with this obscene money scandal. The other day I broke down in RosarioBecause each large billboard costs 1,800,000 pesos and there were five per block, the sextuples cost 400,000 and you have twenty per block, while people die of hunger or crime. I felt disgusted,” added the former national deputy.

A few days ago, Carolina Losada denounced Maximiliano Pullaro, who related the former Santa Fe Security Minister and his competitor in the JxC inmate to having ties to drug trafficking, and to financing publications on social networks in order to “defame” her.

Pullaro repeatedly denied Losada’s suggestions. “The drug traffickers discredit me because I put them in jail and Carolina Losada joins that campaign once morest me,” he told Clarion at the end of June.

In Santa Fe, Carrió and the leaders who accompany her signed a document before a notary public, in which they promised to renounce all kinds of economic privileges and the use of funds managed discretionally and without transparency, if they were elected following the July 16 elections.

“This is the last thing I do because from now on, if you get confused, if so many posters confuse you, you will be wrong and wrong. I see people lost, I see them confused,” concluded Carrió.

A history of decompensation of Carrió

This Wednesday is not the first time that Elisa Carrió must be hospitalized following suffering a decompensation. In October 2021, while she was in Mar del Plata, she had to be hospitalized.

She suffered the episode the same day she had arrived in the spa city, while she was staying at a friend’s house. After feeling unwell, the former deputy was transferred to the Belgrano Sanatorium, located at 4300 Belgrano Street, where she was hospitalized for the purpose of routine tests.

As explained at the time by relatives of Carrió to Clarionthe former deputy “felt bad” because due to her sedentary life “sometimes he lacks air”. Apparently, the leader went to the sanatorium to have “a checkup” and the doctors admitted her as a precaution.

It is common for the leader to stop to catch her breath during campaign tours. But in addition, Carrió suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure. “Lilita is agitated in general, because she leads a very sedentary life and smokes”explained his collaborators.

He had traveled to Mar del Plata to support Guillermo Montenegro, mayor of General Pueyrredón, who was on campaign.

“Thanks to the doctors and staff of the Belgrano Sanatorium for the love and attention and especially to Dr Alejandro Dellacasa. I am fine and resting,” the former deputy later recounted on her Twitter account following leaving the medical center where she spent one night .
