Canadian multiplatinum producer musician, Elijah Woods, has released a new single entitled Losing A Friend.
Introspective and honest, Losing A Friend discusses the complexity of human relationships and the various challenges we encounter on our journey to discover our true identity.
With honest lyrics, Losing A Friend discusses how we face imperfection and the various burdens that come from things that are not conveyed.
Every word in this song explores the meaning of love, loss, and the search for a resolution such as, “I’m not perfect, I think you thought I was,” to the question, “Is this the end? Is it over?”.

The combination of heart-wrenching melodies and honest confessions makes Losing A Friend a reminder that the most difficult struggle is the struggle with ourselves.
“Losing A Friend’ is a song regarding a very personal experience,” said Woods. “The change from the feel of a ballad song at the beginning of the song with intimate piano playing to the outro with a rock feel summarizes the feelings of love, confusion, disappointment and sadness. This song discusses the end of a friendship and the emotional ups and downs that arise.”
Woods will be Niall Horan’s opening act on Horan’s world tour entitled The Show Live on Tour on May 11 at Beach City Stadium Ancol, Jakarta. (RO/Z-1)
