Eliav Zohar married his partner in front of thousands of guests

In the shadow of the situation: Eliav Zohar, the singer and son of Miki Zohar, Minister of Culture and Sports, married his partner Sapir Mesika this evening (Sunday) in a grandiose event and in front of the eyes of about 2,000 guests at Olim Doria – when the concept of the wedding and the list of guests were changed this morning, due to the situation.

After the difficult news about the murder of the abductees was published, Eliav’s father, Miki Zohar, posted a request from the government ministers on WhatsApp in which he explained that Eliav and Sapir decided to adapt the wedding to the situation, and asked his co-workers not to attend the event “so as not to hurt the painful feelings of the people of Israel.”

In the original program, a long list of singers were also supposed to perform at the wedding, including Lior Narkis and Eden Ben Zaken and the DJs Moshiko Stern and Skazi – but at the request of the couple, the performances were canceled.

Zohar and Mesika met through Instagram a year and a half ago and at the beginning of the war they quickly united and moved in together. The exciting proposal came in June, when Eliav filmed a new music video for a song he released and took the opportunity to kneel down and propose to 25-year-old Misika, who of course responded positively.
