To score Elgato is preparing two new models of video capture cards to make up its portfolio. These are the variants 4K X e 4K Pro, which were on display at the company’s booth during the TwitchCon event. In this sense, the first item is an external version, while the second is an internal type.
To begin with, the first model mentioned stands out for its support for higher resolution, which makes us think that it is the successor to the HD60 X model, presented by the company last year. In addition to being 4K, it also supports a 144 Hz refresh rate and can increase to 240 Hz if it is in Full HD resolution.
An interesting advantage is the fact that it is a plug and play model, compatible with Windows, Mac and even iPad and can be used with HDR. As for the 4K Pro, it passes 8K at 60 Hz HDR with real 4K at 60 Hz capture to the computer.
The idea of this release is to replace the 4K66 Pro Mk.2 version, released by Elgato a few years ago. In fact, it is also worth mentioning that both cards have HDMI 2.1 input and output. The information comes from the Senpai Gaming channel, which even published an image showing the two products.
