Asuncion, IP Agency.- President Santiago Peña, together with the Minister of Health, María Teresa Barán, delivered this Friday G. 223,875,000 from the funds of the transfer model based on health results (Fobares) to the Council of Mayors of the department of Caazapá.
The amount will be distributed among the Health Councils of 11 districts of the department, which include Caazapá, San Juan Nepomuceno, Coronel Maciel, Abaí, Fulgencio Yegros, Tavai, Buena Vista, Yuty, General Higinio Morínigo, Moisés Bertoni and 3 de Mayo. These funds will be used to improve health care and meet the priority goals and programs defined by the Ministry of Health.
The institution highlights that it represents an important step towards strengthening health services in the region. Barán underlined the benefits of Fobares, pointing out that it allows for more efficient and transparent management of resources. “By linking funds to specific results, we ensure that each guaraní invested translates into concrete improvements for the health of our people,” he said.
