‘Everybody wants to play in the World Cup. It is the biggest tournament in the world. I know we have the support of 24 crore people behind us. For now we have to trust the system.

‘I thought about it and collected my documents but I could not submit the documents on time. After some time, FIFA banned Pakistan. But now I feel that I am representing Pakistan at the right time.’

‘I have experience of three hundred professional matches in England. I have extensive experience in the game that I can help local players with. And that’s what I’m doing in every match.
