Great audio imaging can elevate your gaming session, but sometimes you might want to listen following you put down the controller. Spotify users are in luck in this regard, as Sony has just added a new batch of gaming music to the music streaming service. As reported by Eurogamer, Sony Interactive Entertainment has released original soundtracks (OST) for Shadow of the Colossus, Gravity Rush, and PoPoLoCrois, among other games. Twitter user AniPlaylist noticed the move first, linking all the new music albums in a thread of tweets. Other music streaming platforms like YouTube Music and Apple Music don’t have these albums of Sony OSTs, but they do have others, like the music for Final Fantasy and Destiny, that are available through streaming services. According to Eurogamer, Sam Hughes, sound designer for Remedy Games, created a Final Fantasy playlist on Spotify that contains over 2,000 songs that you can add to your playlist. In August, Sony added soundtracks to The Last Guardian, Ico, and Siren games, according to VG247. This may indicate that more are expected to arrive. But, if you prefer sound in physical form, last year Sony released a number of soundtracks on vinyl, including Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Ghost of Tsushima, and Returnal.
