“Electronic Medicine Regulator Launched by Sharjah Social Affairs and e-Government, reports Emirates News Agency”

This is part of the strategic plan of the Age-Responsible Sharjah Program, which seeks to digitally empower senior citizens using modern tools that make their daily lives easier. Asma Al-Khudari, the office’s director, explains that the application is aimed at facilitating communication and information, one of the pillars of the global network for the elderly, of which Sharjah is a member. She also notes that all local departments are working to create initiatives that are in the best interest of the elderly. The e-Government Department proposed this medication regulator, which enables seniors to keep track of their health appointments, medication doses, and create their medical records. Eng. SHARJAH, 13th April, 2020 (WAM) — The Sharjah Age-Responsive Office in the Social Services Department in Sharjah, in cooperation with the E-Government Department in Sharjah, launched the application of a medication regulator for the elderly as part of the strategic plan of the Age-Responsible Sharjah Program.

Asma Al-Khudari, director of the office, said that the service comes within the framework of communication and information – one of the axes of the global network for the elderly, of which Sharjah is a member -, explaining that the application aims to digitally empower the elderly through modern applications that facilitate and facilitate their daily lives, as all local departments have been addressed. To present initiatives that are in the interest of the elderly, each according to his specialization, and a proposal to regulate medicine was submitted by the e-Government Department in Sharjah.

For his part, Eng. Khalid Muhammad Bukallah, Information Technology Consultant at the Department of E-Government, said that the Medication Organizer is an application for the elderly to help remind them of appointments related to their health, protection and care, and to organize the doses of the medicines they take. In addition, the user can create his medical file, which gives him access. Quick access to health information and diagnosing the types of diseases that one suffers in addition to adding a feature to know the nearest health centers, hospitals and pharmacies available on the organizer.
