A young Austrian died while on vacation in Croatia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the death of an Austrian citizen to the APA on Monday, according to a media report by “meinbezirk.at”. The 17-year-old may have lost his life to electrocution while showering in a metal-coated outdoor area in front of his accommodation on the island of Hvar, according to initial findings, the media reported. The accident is believed to have happened last Friday. The Foreign Ministry is supporting the relatives and, out of consideration for them, does not want to provide any further information on the “tragic incident”.
