Electric bike introduced for public transport for the first time in Pakistan

In the field of technology, following making ventilators and drones, Pakistan has set another important milestone by introducing the first ever electric public electric bike.

Federal Minister for IT Syed Aminul Haq while inaugurating the eZBike said that eZBike will be a welcome addition to the increasing problems of public transport. This eco-friendly bike will be a great facility especially for working women.

The Federal Minister said that the Ministry of IT is a great facilitator of every project of public services and facilities. We wish that electric vehicles have a significant part in the Digital Pakistan Vision.
He said that the pilot project of EasyBike will be started in Islamabad initially and the bikes will be available around the metro stations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Men and women can use this bike to leave it wherever they go. Charges will be Rs 5 per minute.
