With a resounding result, the current mayor of General Cabrera, Guillermo Cavigliasso, of Together for Change, won the elections in his city and will rule for four more years.

“I am happy… I just want to thank all of Cabrera for giving me that confidence. It is a greater responsibility than he already had, ”Cavigliasso said two hours following the triumph.
For his part, Huppi highlighted having reached the Council.
“We managed to enter the Deliberative Council. I feel proud because I am going to be a councilor for my town. It is the place that still life I wanted to occupy”, Huppi told the press and added: “We only achieved this, this group, the ‘José Manuel de la Sota’ did it thanks to the accompaniment of other leaders of the department”.
Of the 11,000 voters qualified to vote, who voted at 30 polling stations distributed in four schools, 62.32% participated.
General Cabrera is the head city of the Juárez Celman department, in the south of the province of Córdoba.
The current mayor of General Cabrera has been in office for just under a year, since, following an interim period of six months, in June 2022 he officially took over as replacement for Marcos Carasso, who had been elected in 2019, but who at the end of 2021 he took his position as a national deputy and resigned from the Mayor.
“I, a little, had anticipated it, I realized it from the people. Thank God the victory was confirmed”, expressed Carasso regarding Cavigliasso’s victory.
Carasso is the president of provincial radicalism and a member of the sector led by national deputy Mario Negri.
Note: in 2019, Carasso had obtained 67.73% of the votes; once morest 29.89% of Justicialist Miguel Díaz, his only rival.
