Daher also pointed out that “what protects Lebanon from an Israeli war is the implementation of International Resolution No. 1701, and not giving Israel any excuse to launch attacks against Lebanon.”
He added, “Lebanon has paid an expensive tax for the Palestinian cause, so we cannot open a war against Lebanon and other countries in a state of calm on the borders. We, as the Lebanese people, can no longer tolerate more wars and crises.”
In response to a question about fears of an Israeli war on Lebanon, Daher said, “The enemy’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is in trouble, and he is in a dilemma. Daher continued, “Yes, Israel wants to drag Lebanon into war, and we, in return, must not give it any justification. Let us implement Resolution 1701 and address the 13 controversial points. Otherwise, our situation will be very difficult.
