Election Commission unhappy with Supreme Court verdict: ‘Giving specific seats beyond understanding’ – Pakistan

After the decision of the Supreme Court regarding specific seats, the sources of the Election Commission say that it has never said that PTI is not a political party, the Election Commission has not misinterpreted any decision. PTI was neither a party in the Election Commission nor a party before the Peshawar High Court in this case, so giving them reserved seats is incomprehensible.

Sources of the Election Commission say that PTI is a political party, its name is included in the list of political parties, the name of Tehreek-e-Insaf is also available on the website of the Election Commission.

Sources in this regard, the Election Commission further said that PTI’s intra-party election was not declared valid, once morest which PTI went to various forums.
