Game News Elding Ring: A Media Molecule artist revisits the game in Dreams

Since its release, Elden Ring has never ceased to federate around it and impresses with its huge open world, its remarkable gameplay and its fabulous atmosphere. Like many players, many developers have been seduced by the formula of From Software and one of them has also paid tribute to Elden Ring.

Martin Nebelong, Danish artist from the Media Molecule studio, decided to recreate one of the panoramas ofElden Ring using the famous Dreams. Once again, we can only bow before the astonishing richness of the famous creation program. With the tools available to the public, Martin Nebelong, who regularly produces tutorials for owners of Dreams, has thus succeeded in modeling the dark and enigmatic atmosphere of Elden Ring. The video below is all the more telling as it transcribes, in accelerated, the entire process leading to the final result. It is truly a very long process and it is, moreover, the most impressive creation of the Danish designer to date.

DREAMS, THE CREATIVE PROGRAM THAT IMPRESSES

Released in 2020, Dreams is a program developed by Media Molecule, the creators of LittleBigPlanet or Tearaway. It is a “software” which tries, using a simple joystick, to “popularize” the development of video games. From visuals to music to animations and more, Dreams is a gigantic digital playground. With a very active community, the program regularly makes the news thanks to admirable creations, even for some totally incredible. Some works are beyond comprehension and it is not uncommon to have to emerge various tops to fall backwards, whether in 2D or 3D. Artists around the world like to immerse themselves in Dreams to revisit, in their own way, films or well-known video game licenses. And each discovery, like this Elden Ring, is always a pleasure. Hats off to all these artists.
