Game News Elden Ring vs Horizon 2: SELL unveils the top sales of the week in France
After the ranking of sales in the United Kingdom for the first week of March, led by a certain Gran Turismo 7, it’s SELL’s turn to offer us a ranking of the best sales of physical games in France for the week. from February 21 to 28. Your predictions?
Three behemoths in the Top 5
Rare are the months of February rich in releases, and yet the month of February of the year 2022 was, this year, worthy of a month of November with four big releases on the program: Dying Light 2 : Stay Human, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Horizon : Forbidden West and Elden Ring. Moreover, these games seem to have seduced players in France, since three of them are in the Top 5 of physical sales for the week of February 21 to 28.
- 1 : Elden Ring – Launch Edition (PS5)
- 2: Pokémon Legends: Arceus (Nintendo Switch)
- 3 : Elden Ring – Launch Edition (PS4)
- 4 : Horizon : Forbidden West (PS4)
- 5 : Horizon : Forbidden West (PS5)
Elden Ring enters the dance
As you can therefore see, Elden Ring is making a sensational entrance this week. It ranks first in the best physical sales for the last week of February in France thanks to its Launch Edition PlayStation 5 version. In second place, we find the open-world which made people talk regarding its graphics when it was launched, namely Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Indeed, the Nintendo Switch title, which was in third position the week of February 14 to 20, has just climbed the ladder. We imagine that this is due to its recent free update which notably added new quests.
This week’s Top 5 closes with Horizon: Forbidden West. Yes, the title of Guerrilla Games published by Sony occupies the fourth and fifth place thanks to its standard PlayStation 4 version and its standard PlayStation 5 version. We imagine that the PlayStation 4 version has been sold more since the latter, sold at 70€ once morest 80€ for the PlayStation 5 version, gives access to both versions.
