Game News Elden Ring: the speedrun records start once more, a new mind-blowing time!

About ten days ago, the community of FromSoftware game speedrunners, and more particularly of Elden Ring, welcomed the arrival of a new patch with great bitterness. The reason ? A series of changes that challenged their strategies to overcome the game as quickly as possible. However, players continue to evolve on version 1.0.2 and to rain down records!

Summary

  • A gloomy atmosphere in the Entre-Terre
  • A new record far from Shineless

A gloomy atmosphere in the Entre-Terre

After a wave of successive records and duels at the top between the most seasoned players and speedrunners evolving on Elden Ring, patch 1.0.3 came to thwart the plans of these. Thanks to their methods, the players managed to go under the 30-minute mark, and Distorsion2 sat at the top of the rankings with an impressive time of 28 minutes and 59 seconds, one second less than its rival MyStiC.

Unfortunately, the celebrations of these feats gave way to a small disappointment, forcing them to review their copy. While waiting to find solutions to successfully complete the game in its latest version, some of them continue to evolve on the old version in order to improve their time.. The objective: travel the lands of the Entre-Terre to do better, or even reach a new level!

One would have thought that all this was going to take time but, finally, the records were linked once once more. So much so that a new level was recently crossed, dropping below the twenty-minute mark! We give you a thousand, it’s once once more Distortion2 who established this new incredible score with a time of 18 minutes and 58 seconds.

The player was also under pressure: last week his own record was overtaken by Hazeblade’s performance, improving the time by a few minutes to just under 25 minutes. On Twitch, Distortion2 sweated blood and water, for more than 15 hours of live, to recover his title until he succeeded.

The player immortalized his prowess, while posting it on Twitter to thank the wave of support he receives during each of his tries. On version 1.0.2 ofElden Ringthe speedrunners are still having a great time before tackling new strategies who are sure to go down in FromSoftware gaming legend. The next challenge, namely less than fifteen minutes, already in the sights of the players?
