Ring of Elden is not on Switch, and that’s a shame as it’s shaping up to be one of the most critically acclaimed titles of 2022 if early reviews are to be believed.

OpenCritic – who, as a rival metacriticalAggregated Rating Results – Just confirmed that Elden Ring topped and topped the “Greatest Games of All Time” list approximately an hour after the rating embargo ended Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (which are 2nd and 3rd respectively).

However at metacriticalElden Ring is ranked (at the time of writing) as the 13th greatest game of all time; ocarina of time still in first place with a metascore of 99.

Our friends at Push Square posted a ‘Revision in progress’but what should I say:

Elden Ring looks like the definitive FromSoftware game. With a slick combat system that incorporates new ideas and an open world perfect for exploration, it sets new standards for titles of its kind. While its technical flaws and disappointing secondary content may be disappointing, that’s what the core experience offers , spectacular. It won’t suddenly turn those turned off by previous entries into fans, but FromSoftware enthusiasts should probably consider Elden Ring a must-play. We just need a little more time to confirm these thoughts.

Do you plan to install Elden Ring on another system this week? There’s no shame in admitting it! Let us know with a comment below.
