FromSoftware has updated Elden Ring to version 1.02.2. With this patch, the developers have fixed several issues with the game on PC, and also fixed the save system on the PlayStation 5.
In the changelog for the PC version of Elden Ring, FromSoftware representatives specifically listed two bugs that were addressed in the new patch. Game authors have fixed an issue where the system was not using the power of the graphics card, resulting in slow performance. The developers have also fixed an unexpected client close during the battle with the Fire Giant.
On PlayStation 5, FromSoftware has fixed a save issue. Previously, users might lose progress if they turned off the console or put it to sleep while the game was running.
Elden Ring was released on February 25th. The game received high reviews from critics, pond the second highest rated game on OpenCritic. At the same time, on Steam, the average rating of the title from users turned out “mixed” due to technical issues with the PC version.
