A bus in London.

Times change, men and their methods of communication too. While we observed Aloy’s features fromHorizon : Forbidden West on giant screens but also on the gates of the Paris metro, Bandai Namco’s way of promotingElden Ring differs somewhat. In the United Kingdom, for example, there are London buses with a poster of the next FromSoftware circulating… But that’s not all! It is VideoGameChronicles (VGC) which announces that the publisher has decided to organize a competition in partnership with The Highland Titles : it is a site that offers pieces of Scottish land (between 0.09 square meters and 9.2 square meters) as well as an owner’s title. The latter also offers the title of Lord or of Lady.

Glencoe

Restricted to UK and Irish residents over the age of sixteen, the competition takes place between February 25 and March 11. Participants must then send an email to Bandai Namco and explain why they can be elected as Lord of the Hand Where Elden Ladythe title granted by this partnership. In case of victory, the winners will be rewarded with a certificate and a piece of land located at Glencoe, Scotland. An initiative launched to help preserve Scottish land. Today, it would be 250,000 individuals who would have bought a plot and thus become Lord Where Lady de Glencoe.

As mentioned above, the competition is unfortunately only open to Irish and UK residents. However, nothing prevents players from becoming, symbolically this time, the lords of the Underworld. It is the name of the world in which the story of Elden Ring is set. Since the bursting of the Circle of Elden, the source of the Tree of Life’s power, its various shards have been pilfered by various lords of the Underworld granting them superhuman power. It’s up to the player, a Shinless, to knock them down to become the one and only Lord of Elden. The circle is complete.

Elden Ring is expected on February 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Launch time was even shared by Bandai Namco.
