El Rayo reacts to the accusations of Iván Arboleda

Rayo Vallecano has issued this Sunday a statement in which He has “categorically denied” the strong accusations of goalkeeper Iván Arboleda.

The Colombian goalkeeper arrived at the red-and-red club last season from Banfield. In the winter window he went on loan to Newells, without having debuted with Rayo. An operation in which the Argentine club paid the record of the Colombian goalkeeper and Rayo Vallecano paid the salary. The doorman claims unpaid seven months.

Given the strong accusations, it was the Madrid club who, through an official statement, urged Arboleda to fulfill their contractual obligations.

The Club has requested Mr. Arboleda to reconsider his unjustified contractual resolution and fully comply with his contractual obligations with the Club. “If he persists in his non-compliance, he will have to face the sports sanctions and the payment of the compensation agreed in each and every one of the contracts with both Club Atlético Newell’s Old Boys and with this entity, including the payment of the termination clause provided in their employment contract” says Rayo Vallecano.
