During the second semester of 2023 it will take place in the annex of Villa El Chocón a superior technique in Gastronomy. The initiative aims to offer localities in the area trained technicians that allow a revaluation of the local heritage and the innovation of the gastronomic offer.
The government of the province, through the Ministry of Government and Education, signed an agreement with the municipality of Villa El Chocón to offer the higher technical degree in Gastronomy in the town.
As reported, the Provincial Education Council held meetings with the Municipality to define this educational proposal for people from the town and surroundings. The educational proposal will begin to be dictated in the second semester of 2023 in the municipal annex.
The act was led by Governor Omar Gutiérrez, the Minister of Government and Education, Osvaldo Llancafilo, and the President of the Deliberative Council in charge of the municipal Executive, Bruno Caballero.
The objective is to train senior technicians who can revalue the local heritage and encourage innovation in the gastronomic offer, respecting the local tradition and the socio-cultural needs of the region. “In this way, added value will be generated at source and gastronomy will be transformed into a product for Villa El Chocón and the entire Limay region,” the authorities indicated.
