For motorsport fans the ECO Rally Acropolis of 2024 is the number one sporting event of the yearand it could only have a principle worthy of it of its reputation and history.

Seventy crews crossed the starting ramp earlier at the Panhellenic Exhibition of Lamia, to compete over the next three days in a traditionally tough race of 15 special courses totaling 305.30 kilometers.

The “present” at this great sports celebration was given by Deputy Minister of Sports Yannis Vroutsiswho got a taste of what’s to come yesterday morning as he found himself on the right bucket of Dani Sordo’s Hyundai i20 N Rally 2 in the Shakedown process.

Also present as every year Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Staikourasgave “the green light” to another one starting ceremony of the EKO Rally Acropolis.

The end of the evening found her Elena Paparizou raising the temperature to high as only she knows, with her wonderful songs and him Manoli Kontaro to frame her perfectly and give the evening exactly what it deserved!
