ELEVEN dance performances from the collaboration of EKI Dance Company and Cicilia Ballet School were presented in a performance titled Dance For All. The performance held at the Jakarta Arts Building lasted for 120 minutes, on Sunday (21/7).
Of the eleven performances, there is the Fairy Doll dance from Cicilia Balet School and the Legend of the Firebird from Manggarai presented by EKI Dance Company. Dance for All Producer Nala Amyrtha said that this performance can be enjoyed by all groups and is an invitation to dance for all.

Regarding the performance of the Legend of the Firebird from Manggarai, Nala said that this was the work of the late founder of EKI Dance Company, Rusdy Rukmarata. This work was inspired by the legend of the Firebird from Russia.
“This is a story between the firebird and the black swan. The firebird is depicted as a perfect figure while the black swan is an imperfect figure. This show has a message that you don’t have to be perfect to be able to feel happiness and feel love,” said Nala.
Dance For All involves hundreds of dancers from EKI Dance Company and Cicilia Ballet School. The dancers have a wide range of ages from children to adults. (M-3)
