Ekaterina Bekh, who competed for Ukraine, plans to return Russian citizenship – Biathlon

Two-time world champion in biathlon among juniors Ekaterina Bekhwho played for the Ukrainian national team, plans to return to the Russian team.

Bekh received Ukrainian citizenship in 2018. In mid-April, it became known that the ex-Russian expelled from the Ukrainian team.

According to the Arena Ural telegram channel, Bekh is now in Russia in refugee status and is collecting documents to return Russian citizenship. It is noted that the athlete plans to play for the national team of the Tyumen region.
