Eintracht Frankfurt is still active on the transfer market. The SGE has secured the services of an old Bayern companion of Dino Toppmöller.

Frankfurt – It’s getting serious for Eintracht Frankfurt! The official start of training at the SGE is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12th. It is quite possible that new coach Dino Toppmöller will then welcome a very fresh face to the coaching team: Stefan Buck.

Born:3. September 1980 (age 42 years), Bad SaulgauStations as a player (among others):Karlsruher SC, TSV 1860 Munich, SpVgg Unterhaching, FC Bayern Munich IIStations as a coach:FC Bayern Munich (youth), FC Bayern Munich II

Eintracht Frankfurt will probably use FC Bayern once more

The previous assistant of the second team of FC Bayern Munich is moving to the Main. There he will be the assistant coach of Toppmöller, who was also recently employed by FCB. Eintracht is once once more using the German champions! Bayern confirmed the transfer on Wednesday morning Bild was the first to report on the upcoming change.

Buck has been with the Bayern youth team since 2015, most of the time as an assistant coach. Since April 2021 he has finally assisted the amateurs, most recently Holger Seitz was his boss there. And now it’s going to be top moeller. Of course, the two know each other from their time together in Munich, the new SBU coach was Julian Nagelsmann’s assistant from July 2021 to March 2023. As is well known, he had to go shortly before the start of the hot phase of the season – turbulent months followed on Säbener Straße.

Stefan Buck: Bundesliga experience with Karlsruher SC

As a player, Buck mainly played in the 2nd Bundesliga. Spicy: He played the most games there for Bayern’s local rivals: 53 for TSV 1860 and 54 for SpVgg Unterhaching. There are also 25 other second division appearances for FC Augsburg and Karlsruher SC. Buck was also on the road with KSC in the Bundesliga – there are 19 games for the former defender.

Born in Bad Saulgau, he ended his active career with FC Bayern II in the Regionalliga Bayern, where he played another 79 games between 2012 and 2015. Immediately following his last season, he joined the Bayern youth team as an assistant coach – eight years later, the German football upper house is calling once more. Nothing was initially known regarding a possible transfer fee that Frankfurt would have to transfer to Munich.

Frankfurt coaching team now complete with Buck?

With Buck, the Frankfurt coaching team should now be complete. With Nélson Morgado and Erwin Bradasch, two other former companions of Toppmöller are on the staff. Both have already worked in Belgium (Virton) and Luxembourg (Dudelingen) with the current Eintracht coach. In terms of player transfers, on the other hand, there is still a lot to do. The future of top striker Randal Kolo Muani is still uncertain. (mind)
