Berlin – Eintracht Frankfurt lost the DFB Cup final once morest RB Leipzig. Ultimately, the SGE lacked the power to penetrate the opposing penalty area, and small things like the deflected shot in front of the goal by Christopher Nkunku (70th) and Christopher Lenz losing the ball before Dominik Szoboszlai made it 2-0 (84th) decided the game.

Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche congratulated Leipzig on winning the cup, in the subsequent Skyinterview, he didn’t let a bad word come to his harmony either.
In the conversation with reporter Patrick Wasserziehr, it was also regarding the farewell to coach Oliver Glasner. The Austrian played his last game following two years of SGE on Saturday evening. His future is still unclear – and his successor on the Frankfurt coaching bench has not yet been determined.

Wasserziehr therefore asked Krösche and wanted to know what would come following the Glasner era: “Will Dino Toppmöller be his successor?” Krösche replied coolly: “Today is not the time to talk regarding a successor.”
Wasserziehr wasn’t satisfied with that, adding “But it would be exciting.” Krösche once more cold as ice: “Today is not the time to talk regarding a successor.” Wasserziehr continued: “But you cannot rule out Toppmöller either.” Krösche for the third time: “Today is not the time to talk regarding a successor speak.”
Who will be Glasner’s successor in Frankfurt? Dino Toppmöller with the best chances
Hat trick from the Eintracht sports director! Wasserziehr is known throughout the Bundesliga as a master of not letting go. Even if there was no answer from Krösche, he should Sky-Reporters have already aimed in the right direction. Toppmöller, most recently Nagelsmann-Co at Bayern, is considered a top candidate at Eintracht.
Krösche himself, on the other hand, has recently been repeatedly associated with the people of Munich. Shortly before the Toppmöller questions, however, he assured Wasserziehr that he would be working “100 percent” at Eintracht Frankfurt in the coming season. (mind)
