Eight arrests in Belgium after suspicion of terrorism – Belgium

BRUSSELS – Eight people have been arrested in Belgium in connection with attack plans. As the Belga news agency reported on Tuesday, citing the public prosecutor’s office, at least two of them are suspected of having prepared a terrorist attack in Belgium. According to the broadcaster RTBF, some of those arrested are known for their Islamist extremism. The target of a possible attack was initially unclear.
