Some Shiite narrations, especially regarding the Alawite sect, spoke in this context that on this day the chosen Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abd Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, delivered the Farewell Pilgrimage in a place in the Hijaz called “Ghadeer Khum” and today it was called the name of the place, as he was in a state of illness Strong, and following recommending that Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, be his successor among the Muslims, saying, “Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master.”
