SHARJAH, 1st July, WAM, The Sharjah Labor Standards Development Authority organized the Eid Al-Adha Labor Festival in the labor park in Al Saja’a Industrial Area in Sharjah, under the title “Eid with Workers.” Representatives of participating government and private bodies and members of the Indian Society of Sharjah.
The activities of the festival included cultural programmes, free medical examinations, educational, artistic and entertainment programmes, the Eid bazaar, awareness lectures, motivational sessions and legal advice to enhance the morale and social spirit of workers, in addition to artistic, musical and entertainment programmes.
His Excellency Salem Youssef Al-Qaseer said: With the great response witnessed by the first festival last year, we decided to hold it for the second time because of the goals it achieved related to strengthening the bonds of social and cultural relations between workers of different nationalities, stressing that this festival is part of the activities and labor activities that the authority constantly organizes in coordination with The government and private sectors.
