After a brief online overview of the two-wheeled innovations of 2025, we decided to go to the pavilions of the Milan Fair to see them live. The following is the catwalk of the first 6 “pearls” of the EICMA: bikes that have enchanted us for aesthetics, for them technical goodies exclusive features that they offer, as well as for the excellent performance they declare.
DUCATI PANIGALE V4 S
Looking at the Panigale V4 S 2025, any enthusiast can’t help but melt: well loaded forward and with a high and stiff ponytail, it expresses dynamism even when stationary, so much so that you can’t wait to squeeze the tight sides of the tank between your knees and crouch behind the fairing… Equipped with technical and aerodynamic solutions shared with the Pecco Bagnaia’s MotoGP (complete with wings that emerge from the fairing), represents the sum of the Ducati DNA, and in every corner you can find cues from the 851, the 916, the 999 and even the 1098.
The best of Ducati technology
Equipped with a splendid 90° V4 and the inevitable desmodromic distribution, the Panigale V4 S 2025 can be summed up in two facts: 187 kg of mass and a power of 216 HPresulting in a power/weight ratio (almost like a racing bike) of 1.15. Furthermore, it is also available with an Akrapovic racing exhaust system which increases the power to 228 HP at 13,750 rpm. Precisely at the request of the Ducati Corse department, to make it even more similar to the red MotoGP bike, the single rear swing arm was abandoned in favor of an aluminum “double swing arm”.
A real treat for geeks is the new one DVO algorithm (Ducati Vehicle Observer), developed by Ducati Corse for the control of vehicle dynamics: evaluating numerous kinematic quantities, both in lean and in wheelie, calculate the accelerations, the forces on the tires and the maximum torques that the vehicle is able to withstand in various driving situations.
● Engine: 90° V4
● Displacement: 1103 cm3
● Power: 216 HP at 13500 rpm
● Mass: 187 kg
● Price: 34,240 euros
● Already on the market
APRILIA RSV4 X ex3ma
Among the hyper sports cars it is the most racing of allboth because it costs a staggering sum (affordable only for a team or a wealthy enthusiast), and because it is not authorized to circulate on roads open to traffic and because, like all racing motorbikes, none of its components are covered from warranty.
This is the formidable RSV4 in just 30 examples, equipped with a bold titanium exhaust system, with carbon fiber terminals, Brembo braking system with 330 mm diameter front discs and radial pump, it is available exclusively in the “black pearl” livery, has a full carbon fairing (with Pan Composites) and the rims are also in carbon fibre.
Record-breaking aerodynamics
Based on a double beam aluminum frame, it is characterized by obsessive aerodynamic attention, with a design of the sides of the fairing (patented by Aprilia) which, when the bike is inclined, increases the load and grip of the bike on the ground. The package is completed by the double front wing, a second wing positioned under the swingarm and a third positioned in the lower area of the front mudguard.
● Engine: 65° V4
● Displacement: 1099 cm3
● Power: 230 HP at 13500 rpm
● Mass: 165 kg
● Price: 80,000 euros
● Already available to order
BMW S 1000 R
Also qualified for Euro 5+ approval, the 2025 version of the grintosa roadster German has a richer standard equipment and various technical and aesthetic updates. The improvements also involved the more high-performance M 1000 R version, which boasts the remarkable power of 210 HP and the Shiftcam variable valve timing system.
He has a new “face”.
Equipped with taut and essential lines, a new front with a double headlight inspired by that of the super sports versions, tighter side panels and a slimmer tail, the BMW R 1000 S has been enriched with quicker accelerator control, the possibility to adjust the control of the engine brake and the USB-C charging socket.
Now it’s more efficient
Thanks to various improvements to the suspension and chassis (based on a double-spar frame in light alloy with a tubular trellis seat support bracket), the exuberant four-cylinder in-line engine (slightly increased in displacement) is better manageable despite the power being increased by 5 HP.
● Engine: four-cylinder in-line
● Displacement: 999 cm3
● Power: 170 HP at 11000 rpm
● Mass: 196 kg (full tank)

FANTIC STEALTH 500
Also offered in a spirited sports version with fairing, called Imola (and also in a smaller version of 125 cm3), the Stealth 500 is a very successful naked which can compete qualitatively, in terms of technical content and elegant design, with the products of most famous motorcycle manufacturers.
Cared for like a jewel
Sophisticated in its finishes, it is based on an original mixed-type frame, with an upper steel tube cage that integrates the engine (as a stressed element of the chassis) anchored at the top and closed at the rear by two die-cast aluminum plates, with the addition of a rear seat support shelf always in tubes.
The swingarm is splendid in aluminum with negative (lower) reinforcement truss and cantilever monoshock absorber. At Fantic they worked a lot to contain the mass of the Stealth 500, which is really low. Powered by a full-bodied and modern single-cylinder four-stroke Minarelli engine with electronic injection and variable valve timing, it also benefits from an anti-slipper clutch.
● Engine: single cylinder
● Displacement: 460 cm3
● Power: 45 HP at 7500 rpm
● Mass: 146 kg
● Price: 6,490 euros

HONDA NT1100
The Japanese company defines it “Touring Crossover”and in fact the NT1100 is a candidate as the ideal companion for long journeys, thanks to the vigor of its engine, the large windshield which can be adjusted (while sitting, with one hand) on five levels, the capacious bags (which increase the mass of 12 kg) and the generous sizing of the saddle.
Many technological accessories for maximum versatility
The new Honda NT1100 offers three riding modes which together with the HSTC traction control allows optimal exploitation of engine power. All this, combined with the electronically controlled Showa suspension, guarantees smooth rides and wide adaptability to road surface conditions.
Inserted in a semi-double cradle steel frame with Pro-Link rear suspension and aluminum monobloc swingarm, it is powered by a large forward-facing twin-cylinder engine equipped with a convenient DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission, as an alternative to the six-speed manual gearbox.
● Engine: parallel twin
● Displacement: 1084 cm3
● Power: 102 HP at 7500 rpm
● Mass: 238 kg

KAWASAKI Z900
Novecento is a historic engine size for the Akashi manufacturer: the most famous was called almost like the one that was presented at EICMA 2024: 900 Z1, always with four cylinders, but with the difference that it was air-cooled and had 82 HP, while today’s one is liquid-cooled with injection and has 20 HP more.
The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 is a grintosa naked with an aggressive and sharp design, which while retaining a traditional trellis frame in upper cage tubes, is peppered with lots of technology, high-performance brakes racing derivation, upside down fork and a monoshock rear suspension.
Top notch equipment
The equipment is truly rich: full LED headlights, 5″ TFT instrumentation, with navigator and voice commands, electronic cruise control, traction control, up to the KQS Kawasaki Quick Shifter system which allows you to engage gears and downshift without the clutch (which is assisted and anti-slipping).
