Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Ehkam platform clarified that ownership is prohibited in 16 sites in the regions and governorates of the Kingdom, and ownership may not be acquired legally or according to orders and instructions.
Ehkam indicated that this comes with the start of the countdown to closing the electronic platform for submitting real estate ownership applications to citizens who do not have legal instruments or documents, which will be closed on the fifth of Jumada al-Ula 1444 AH, according to Okaz.
The sites in which the ownership of real estate is prohibited are as follows: “the borders of the Two Holy Mosques, the boundaries of borders, national reserves, holy sites, coastal lands, sea sanctuaries, fish farming projects, lands of wild parks, wildlife reserves, mountain tops, pasture lands and forests.”
And she continued: “It also includes valleys’ streams, torrents, reefs, floods, archaeological sites, areas of reserves for hydrocarbons, mining and energy, mineral ores sites, electricity paths and stations, water source areas, dams and their sanctuaries, public properties for which sukuk are issued, and public utilities and services.”
