Hani Gayed, head of the Gold Division, confirmed in his interview with Al-Youm Al-Sabea TV that there is great pressure on the stock of gold ore in Egypt as a result of consumers buying bullion, and he appealed to citizens to buy artifacts and temporarily stay away from buying pounds and bullion because they have no added value for the industry.
He added, that there are offers on the prices of gold artifacts, and the citizen can buy and benefit from the artifacts in the decorations instead of storing the bullion, and the citizen in all cases wins because he benefited from the artifacts from two parts, the first is the adornment and the second is saving the value of money.
He pointed out that the tendency to buy handicrafts will reduce the pressure on the price because the stores have large stocks that contribute to meeting the needs of the consumer, unlike bullion and ore, which are consumed on a daily basis and in large quantities.
