Egyptian Women’s National Team Prepares for African Qualifiers and World Cup 2024

The Egyptian women’s national team will enter a closed camp next month, in preparation for facing its Cameroonian counterpart on the 12th of January next year, noting that the return match will be held in Cameroon on the 19th of the same month.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the date of the home and away matches of the U-20 women’s national team once morest its Cameroonian counterpart in the fourth and final round of the African qualifiers for the Colombia 2024 World Cup.

The national team qualified for this round following sweeping Congolese Brazzaville on aggregate, 7-1, in the third round of qualifiers, while Cameroon advanced to this round following defeating Kenya, on aggregate, 6-2.

Today, the national team defeated its Congolese guest 6-0 at the Alexandria Stadium, in the return match, noting that the first leg ended in a positive draw between the two teams, 1-1.

The World Cup will be held in Colombia from August 31 to September 22 of next year.
