Egypt – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed with his Emirati counterpart, Mohammed bin Zayed, ways to enhance relations and developments in regional and international issues.

This came during a four-day visit by President Mohammed bin Zayed to Egypt, according to what was reported by the official Emirati news agency, WAM, yesterday, Thursday.

The two presidents met in the New Alamein City in northwestern Egypt and “discussed the solid fraternal relations between the two countries and various aspects of cooperation and joint work and ways to enhance them at all levels,” according to WAM.

The two sides also discussed “developments in regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them.”

They conducted a “tour of the New Alamein City, during which they saw its most prominent landmarks and inspected the construction and development projects that had been completed in the city,” according to the same source.

According to WAM, on Thursday, “the UAE President left at the end of his visit to Egypt, and was seen off at El Alamein Airport by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.”

On Thursday, the Egyptian presidency published a video on its Facebook account, reviewing the meeting and tour between the two presidents, under the title “Egypt and the Emirates: A fraternal visit and renewed historical relations between the two leaderships and brotherly peoples,” without further details.
