“Egyptian Arbitration Team Assigned for DR Congo Vs Gabon Match in 2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers”

The Referees Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) assigned the management of the meeting between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Gabon, in the fifth round of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, to an Egyptian arbitration team.

The Egyptian crew came as follows:Amin Omar Square referee, Mahmoud Abu Al-Rajal and Ahmed Hossam Taha are assistants, and Mahmoud Al-Banna is a fourth referee.

Gabon occupies the top of the group with 7 points, ahead of the runner-up Sudan team by one point, then the Mauritanian team ranks third with 5 points, and finally the Gabon team (4 points).

On a related note, the Portuguese organized Vitor PereiraChairman of the Referees Committee of the Football Association, visits to the regions and sub-committees of the referees at the level of the Republic, which started on May 7, and included meetings with the heads, directors and members of the sub-committees of the referees.
