A wide controversy was raised by the Egyptian artist Houria Farghali, following her entry into the world of singing, and local media announced that she had finished recording the first song in her artistic career, entitled The Bastard Cat, which is scheduled to be released on the blessed Eid al-Adha.
The Egyptian artist will also record another song in cooperation with the Egyptian rapper Guevara Pablo, according to what the latter announced, as rap is known for its boldness in choosing words and themes of songs.
Farghali was subjected to widespread attack by the public and the pioneers of communication sites, because of the name of the song, which many of them considered as “inappropriate and a disgrace that encourages kitsch.” Among the most prominent comments was what one of the followers wrote: “The one who did not find a job for the two days is spreading to you disgrace and lack of literature, because The trend is back.
The artist, Ghada Ibrahim, also commented on the participation of the artist Houria in the song “The Bastard Cat”, which Ghada refused to perform, stressing that she was shocked when she learned that she had accepted to participate in this song, which may lose her artistic history.
In turn, Houria responded to Ghada’s statements, saying in a press statement that the singer Guevara Pablo is the one who utters the bold words in the song, and when the song was shown to her, she saw that it was a new experience for her, and she continued: “The song is a new festival for the audience, who listens to this kind of songs”.
It is noteworthy that Houria Farghali, had previously been exposed to a severe health crisis, which kept her away from the artistic community for more than two years, following she underwent 4 surgeries in her nose in the United States, and at that time she was bullied by followers, which increased her psychological collapse, to reappear once more in 2021 With her participation in the series “Ayam”.
What added to the controversy and ridicule of the audience, the artist’s statements in a previous television interview, in which she said that she underwent surgery following being envied by a woman who told her, “Your man is sweet.”
