Egypt, Turkey prepare for major agreements led by Sisi and Erdogan

He explained, in a press statement, that under the leadership of both Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, relations between the two countries continue to develop in all fields, from economy to culture, from tourism to industry, and from education to health.

He noted that the signing will take place at the high-level strategic council meeting, which will be held under the chairmanship of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan visited Egypt on August 4 and 5 to prepare for President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s visit to the Turkish capital, Ankara.

He said, during a press conference with his counterpart Badr Abdel-Ati, that Egypt and his country will work to develop relations with all available capabilities, adding that the region has become a ring of fire, stressing that Ankara pays great attention to consulting with Egypt.

He explained that the first meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held during President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s visit to Türkiye.

He pointed out that he conveyed the greetings of his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to President Sisi, and that his country looks forward to receiving him in Turkey as soon as possible.

He stressed that Erdogan’s recent visit to Egypt gave a strong boost to the joint relations between the two countries, stressing the need to work on strengthening and intensifying relations in various fields, expressing his belief in raising the level of trade and economic relations to higher levels.
