Egypt, Greece and Saudi Arabia are considering a joint bid for the 2030 World Cup. Together, they might serve as the third candidate to host the event, following the joint bids considered by Spain and Portugal on one side, and Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Paraguay on the other. At present, no candidature has yet been officially submitted to FIFA, which must designate the host country or countries in 2024.
